Feedback, Performance and Why It Matters

ACE’s commitment to academic excellence is backed by measurable results. In 2024 alone, 249 ACE students achieved a Band 6 in their ACE HSC subjects, with students ranking 1st, 3rd, 5th and 10th in the state for Economics, 2nd in Biology, 5th in Physics and 10th in Mathematics EX2. In 2024, 82 ACE students score ATARs above 99.00, with 6 achieving the elite perfect ATAR of a 99.95. These outcomes reflect a system built on high standards, regular review and continual refinement.

At ACE, we believe in working smarter. By analysing HSC trends, student data and your direct feedback, we adapt our teaching to better support your success. This adaptive learning model ensures that content delivery remains dynamic, targeted and efficient. Our tutors are trained to interpret both group-level patterns and individual requests, allowing them to adjust lesson focus, sequencing and emphasis.

Imagine this: A student in Year 11 shares that their class is struggling with mechanics in physics. ACE tutors take that feedback on board and adjust how they approach the topic during lessons. They introduce alternative explanations and examples that better match how students in that class learn. As a result, students begin to understand the concepts more clearly and perform better in assessments. This is the kind of tailored support your feedback can help provide.

This feedback loop benefits you directly. It leads to more effective lessons, better resources and stronger outcomes, especially in Year 11 and 12 when your marks count most. Academic literature supports this approach: when students engage in self-reflection and offer feedback, they experience greater motivation, better retention and a stronger sense of ownership over their learning. This contributes not only to improved marks but also to deeper understanding and exam confidence.

Tell Us What You Need—By Subject and Experience

We want to hear from you about your experience in each course. Your input helps us tailor the way we teach, the materials we use and the techniques we apply.

  • HSC Maths Tutoring: Do you need more worked examples or a clearer breakdown of complex topics like calculus, integration or probability?
  • HSC Economics Tutoring: Are our lessons supporting your understanding of extended responses, case studies and key economic frameworks?
  • HSC Chemistry Tutoring: Do our notes and practical examples help reinforce theory-heavy content like equilibrium and acids/bases?
  • HSC Physics Tutoring: Are we explaining abstract topics like projectile motion and electricity in ways that work for you?
  • HSC Biology Tutoring: Is the material current, comprehensive and supportive in high-detail modules like genetics and biotechnology?

In addition, we want your feedback on:

  • Overall course experience
  • Tutor delivery and support
  • The usefulness of free printed and digital resources
  • How well our content aligns with your school’s curriculum

This is not just about making improvements. It is about unlocking strategic advantages for you. Whether it is identifying resource gaps or speeding up your understanding of difficult modules, your feedback is the bridge between what we deliver and what you need.

How You Can Share Feedback
